| Missing girl traced within 12 hours by Ramban police | | |  Early Times Report
RAMBAN, June 13: District Police Ramban successfully traced and recovered a missing girl within 12 hours of the registration of the missing report reflecting its prompt response and commitment towards public service.
A missing report regarding Samreen Shaheen (19 years) D/o Mohd. Sardar R/o Village Dharalta, Tehsil Batote, District Ramban was lodged at Police Station Batote on 12.06.2026. Upon receipt of the report a special police team was constituted and an intensive search operation was launched immediately.
The search operation was conducted by a police team under the supervision of senior officers. The team conducted extensive searches at various locations pursued all available leads and utilized technical as well as human intelligence to ascertain the whereabouts of the missing girl.
As a result of the sustained and coordinated efforts of the police team, the missing girl was successfully traced and recovered safely within a short span of time. Subsequently she was brought to Police Station Batote where all necessary legal and procedural formalities were completed. After verification and recording of her statement she was handed over to her legal heirs/family members against proper receipt.
The family members of the girl expressed their gratitude to District Police Ramban for its swift action and dedicated efforts in tracing and safely reuniting her with her family.
