Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua charts future roadmap at SMC meeting

JAMMU, June 19: Jammu Sanskriti School, Kathua proudly convened its School Management Committee (SMC) Meeting on 18th June 2026, bringing together distinguished educationists, eminent citizens, community representatives and school leaders to engage in meaningful deliberations on the institution's achievements, progressive initiatives and future roadmap.
The proceedings commenced with a gracious Welcome Address by the Principal, Mili R. Sumbria, who warmly welcomed the esteemed members and expressed her heartfelt gratitude for their continued guidance and support. In her inspiring address, she reiterated the school's commitment to academic excellence, holistic development, innovation and value-based education.

During the meeting, Mili R. Sumbria presented a comprehensive overview of the school's academic achievements, infrastructural advancements, safety initiatives, implementation of NEP 2020 and future developmental plans. She highlighted the institution's meaningful collaborations with educational platforms such as Go Sharpener and, Awakened Citizenship Program by Ramakrishna Mission and CBSE along with the establishment of the cutting-edge Embibe 3D Lab, designed to foster experiential and EI for competency-based learning.
The Principal also shed light on the school's initiatives in Career Guidance and Psychometric Assessment, in collaboration with IDream Career aimed at helping students make informed academic and career choices. Emphasising the school's commitment to inclusive education, she highlighted the appointment of Special Educators namely Shriya Jasrotia, RCI Certified and Preeti Goswami for Children with Special Needs (CWSN), ensuring that every learner receives personalised support and opportunities to thrive.
Presenting the key highlights of the institution, Headmistress Arti Rajput showcased the remarkable achievements and milestones of Jammu Sanskriti School, Kathua. She proudly shared the successful inauguration of the Legal Literacy Club, the dynamic student platform Sanskriti Vox, Podcast Series and the enthusiastic participation of students in the Annual Event Cyclothon, promoting fitness and social awareness.
She further highlighted the organisation of impactful awareness programmes and workshops, including sessions on the POSH Act and POCSO Act, reinforcing the school's commitment to creating a safe, secure and informed learning environment. The participation of students in the prestigious Behes Boot Camp was also applauded for nurturing critical thinking, communication skills and leadership qualities.
Adding another glorious chapter to the school's legacy of excellence Arti Rajput proudly announced the outstanding achievement of Nandani Singh who secured an impressive 10th Rank in J&K in the recently held Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) bringing immense pride and recognition to the institution and district Kathua .
The members of the School Management Committee expressed profound appreciation for the school's remarkable accomplishments and lauded the visionary leadership of the management, the dedication of the staff and the collective efforts of the entire school fraternity in setting new benchmarks of excellence.
