5-day peace education programme workshop concludes

DODA, July 4: The five-day Peace Education Programme focused on Inner Capacity Building commenced from 30th of June 2026 successfully concluded today at Town Hall Doda. The initiative was conducted by the District Administration Doda in collaboration with The Prem Rawat Foundation.
The programme aimed to promote emotional well-being, self-awareness, inner strength and a positive work culture among government officials and members of educational institutions.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Doda, Anil Kumar Thakur attended the valedictory function and distributed certificates of participation to the attendees. He appreciated the dedicated efforts of the volunteers of The Prem Rawat Foundation and urged participants to carry the message of peace and inner strength to the grassroots level.
Earlier, the workshop witnessed active participation from Chief Education Officer Doda Bhushan Kumar, Principals of Government Degree Colleges and Higher Secondary Schools, Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs), Headmasters along with officers from the Health Department and other district offices.
Over the course of five days, participants engaged in interactive sessions centered around key themes such as Peace, Appreciation, Inner Strength, Self-Awareness, Clarity, Understanding, Dignity, Choice, Hope, and Contentment. The sessions were designed to strengthen leadership skills, emotional intelligence, resilience, and effective decision-making, while also encouraging a healthy work-life balance and citizen-focused service delivery.
The sessions were facilitated by Poonam Sehrawat, Master Trainer from The Prem Rawat Foundation, who guided participants through practical exercises and meaningful discussions.
The organisers shared that this globally acknowledged programme, conducted across multiple countries and languages, aims to help individuals discover their inner strengths and lead more purposeful and fulfilling lives.
