MMU Camp conducted at Block Sunderbani

JAMMU, July 15: As per the directions of District Development Commissioner Rajouri & Chairman DHS Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma (IAS) and CMO Rajouri Dr. M.L. Rana, and under the overall supervision of BMO Sunderbani Dr. Meena Kumari, a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) Camp was conducted today on 15-7-26 at Karma (Prat), Block Sunderbani to provide healthcare facilities to people living in remote and far-flung areas.
During the camp Free OPD consultation and Free Allopathic & Ayurvedic medicines distributed to all patients alongwith Free diagnostic tests including Hb, Blood Sugar, Sputum, Dental and Vision checkups.
Awareness by Dr. Arjun Sharma on Hygiene, Anemia Mukt Bharat, Water & Vector borne diseases, Malaria-Dengue, Communicable & Non-Communicable Diseases, TB Mukt Bharat, Ayushman Bharat and Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, HPV vaccine also given during the camp

Medical Team:
Dr. Arjun Sharma, Dr. Alka, Dr. Nitika, Dr. Preetbandhu, Neelam Kumari, Anju Bala, Davinder Khajuria, Yawar Farooq, Anil Sharma, Sham Sunder, Rajinder Kumar, Harminder Singh, Ajay Sharma, Sushma Sharma, ASHA Workers, Anganwadi Workers & Helpers and Volunteers rendered their services during the camp.
The local population of Karma, Dharoon, Thill, Pathi, Ganeera, Rugga and other adjoining hamlets expressed gratitude to the District Administration, Health Department and the whole medical team for organizing the camp and providing free healthcare facilities at their doorstep.
