Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 15: In a continued effort to enhance operational preparedness and strengthen inter-agency coordination, Police Post Sidhra, in collaboration with the Government Railway Police (GRP) Bajalta, today conducted a joint mock drill exercise within its jurisdiction. The exercise was conducted successfully and concluded smoothly, with participating personnel demonstrating a high degree of coordination, discipline, alertness and professional competence while responding to simulated emergency situations.
The mock drill replicated challenging scenarios designed to assess the preparedness and response capabilities of the participating forces in dealing with anti-militancy operations, terrorist threats, emergency situations and other law and order contingencies. The exercise also provided an opportunity to evaluate operational readiness, enhance coordination between Police Post Sidhra and GRP Bajalta, and reinforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for ensuring a swift, effective and coordinated response during critical incidents. Jammu Rural Police remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of operational preparedness through regular training exercises, joint drills and coordinated initiatives to ensure the safety, security and confidence of the public.
