JAMMU, June 12: Ranjeet Chopra of Jammu clinched the .177 Air Pistol gold in the ongoing Inter-District Shooting competition, organised by J&K Rifle Association at Gulshan Ground, here today. Second place in this event went to Rajesh Virdhy of J&K Police while Subash Chander, again of J&K Police remained third. In junior boys same event, Sandeep Singh bagged first place while Varun Partap Singh and Dilshad Hussain, all from Kathua, bagged first, second and third positions respectively. Junior Girls .177 Air Pistol: Simran Kelsee, Jammu, Ist; Romika, NCC, 2nd and Chaitley Sharma, Udhampur, third. Sub-junior boys .177 Air Pistol: Raghav Bakshi, Kahtua, Ist; Sankar Gupta, Jammu, 2nd and Mandeep Singh, Kathua, third. Junior boys .22 rifle open sight: Tariq Mehmood, Ist; Shakti Raj, 2nd and Bikram Singh, third. Juinor girls .22 rifle open sight: Sarita Sharma, Ist; Divya, 2nd and Anjali, third.
