BJP moves resolution, discusses Kashmir | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, July 31: A special session of State Working Committee and special invitees were called by BJP to discuss the gravity of present scenario in J&K, especially in Kashmir. After a day-long deliberations, a resolution was unanimously adopted reflecting commitment and stand of BJP over present scenario. The special session was chaired by party President Shamsher Singh Manhas and addressed by party leaders, including leader of legislators party Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta, National Executive Member, Dr. Nirmal Singh, former State President Ashok Khajuria and others. The resolution was moved by Prof Chaman Lal Gupta and seconded by BJP State spokesperson Ramesh Arora (Adv.). In the resolution, the BJP members stated that NC-Congress coalition has totally failed to govern and control the present turmoil in the valley and the situation has reached to such an extent that there is total anarchy. The security personnel are being humiliated, minorities are being attacked, government establishments have been rendered unfunctional, the writ of the government is not operating and there is total chaos. It further stated that the Congress has deliberately extended conditional support saying that they will be part of the government, if it is headed by Omar Abdullah. Other prominent leaders who also put forth their view point over the resolution included Suresh Jamwal, Bali Bhagat, Chander Mohan Sharma, Pawan Gupta, Sofi Yousuf, Rajesh Gupta, MLAs Jagdish Sapolia and Durga Dass, S. Charanjit Singh Khalsa, Pawan Khajuria, Sanjeev Sharma, Capt. Kasturi Lal, Ashok Kumar, and Aashiq Hussain Dar. The proceedings of this special session were conducted by Sat Sharma . All the State Office bearers, Senior leaders, MLAs, District & Morcha Presidents and Cell Convenors along with their executive members attended this Special Session.
