Contribute generously for Leh tragedy: SBLASK

Jammu, Aug 21: Sewa Bharati Ladakh Aapda Sahayata Kosh hailed the Centre, State Govts, LAHDC, Army, civil society for coming forward to provide immediate and adequate relief to the suffering people of Ladakh.
Addressing media persons, Ramesh Pappa , Seh prant of Pracharak of RSS, Brig (retd) Suchet Singh chairman of Sewa Bharti Ladakh Aapda Sahayata Kosh and Kuldeep Gupta secretary welcomed Centre government for declaring the Leh disaster as a ‘Calamity of Severe Nature’ and allowing MPs to contribute from MPLAD scheme towards relief in the cloudburst region.
They also hailed the people of whole of the country for their generous contribution to the Sewa Bharti Ladakh Aapda Sahayata Kosh for taking out relief and rehabilitation work in affected region of Ladakh. They appeal to the social and business houses in particular and public in general to contribute generously into SBLASK in PNB A/c No. 1948000101057923
SBLASK which comprising of RSS, Sewa Bharati Ladakh Phanday Tsogspa and Himalayan Parivar have taken a number of measures to provide relief to the affected people since August 6th besides rescuing the number of people from flood, making arragements for cremations, looking after injured in army and General hospital in Leh, distribution of relief material like Blankets, utencils, warm cloths, shoes etc.
A meeting of office bearers of SBLASK will held in Jammu on 23rd August which will chalk out a concrete plan and will take decision on the basis of survey conducted by SBLASK team regarding house building, repairing, relief to the injured, Orphans, Widows, Students and to those whose agricultural fields are badly affected and animals have died.
