Mughal Road brings Kashmiri Wazwan to Rajouri

Rajouri, Oct 12: Although historic Mughal road is yet to open officially for traffic, Kashmiri Wazwan reached Thanamandi with a local Mughal youth started Mughal Darbar. Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Ghulam Ahmed Khawaja inaugurated this hotel on Mughal Road at Thanamandi town.
Historic Mughal road which was used by the Mughal emperors to shift their annual darbar to Kashmir is expected to be thrown open for official vehicular traffic in 2011, yet Kashmiri Wazwan has already reached Thanamandi to serve the passengers on this road.
A local youth of the Mughal clan-Shamim Mughal has taken an initiave and open a beautiful Mughal darbar Hotel on the Mughal Road with facility of 100 vehicle parking. The hotel has been equipped with modern facilities with auto-garage also kept available for servicing the parked vehicles.
Shamim Mughal has hired trained people from Kashmir for Kashmiri Wazwan and the service has been initiated from today with Deputy Commissioner Rajouri GA Khawaja as Chief Guest who cut the ribbon and formally opened it for general use. SDPO Thanamandi, Tehsildar Thanamandi, District Officer Jammu & Kashmir Khadi Village and Industries Board Sadiq Chib, National Conference District President Bashir Wani, Jammu & Kashmir Pahari Peoples Movement Chief Executive Shahbaz Khan, NC General Secretary Rajouri Advocate Parvaiz Ahmed, and Congress leader Shakeel Mir were among other dignitaries who were present on the occasion.
Jammu & Kashmir Pahari Peoples Movement Chief Executive Shahbaz Khan expressed pleasure over opening of such hotel on the Mughal road. He said the it was the need of the moment to open a world class hotel in the area. “It will compete the hotels of Kashmir and Jammu as it has sufficient facilities available”, he said while congratulating Shamim Mughal for their endeavor.
Meanwhile Deputy Commissioner Rajouri GA Khawaja has also congratulated Shamim for opening such a hotel in the area. He said that passengers of Kashmir valley and Jammu region will not face any difficulty on this road as every facility is being kept available on the road and more people are coming forward to open their shops and hotels in the area. He added that the road will address the unemployment issue in better way if the people will utilize their mind and focus their attention on the business.
