CJM rejects bail plea to accused in fake appointment cases

JAMMU, October-14 (JNF):- Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jammu, M.S. Parihar today rejected three bail applications with a common order as all the applicant/accused are allegedly involved in the case alleged fake appointment orders.
According to the police case, applicants/ accused are allegedly involved in the offences u/s 420/465/468/471/120-B RPC as they have been allegedly involved in making fake and forged appointment orders in the name of different departments, including the state government in respect of different persons, including the complainant and the applicants have charged huge money from the innocent persons with the assurance to employee in Govt Jobs. The Investigation of the case has at initial stage. Case was registered on the complaint of one Rajinder Parshad said that one Sanjay Pandita has taken Rs 1, 50, 000 for the appointment of his son and after some time an order issued by Administrative Officer Railway Board Headquarter Badgam Ferozpur Punjab was given to him. The complainant along with said order approached the said office and came to know that the order is not genuine and is fake and after verifying about the same, the complainant came to know that Sanjay Pandita s/o Lassa Nath Pandita r/o Purkhoo Jammu, Vijay Kumar s/o Dewan Chand r/o Vijaypur Tehsil Samba, Ravi Abrol s/o Krishan Chand Abrol last Morh Gandhi Nagar Jammu and Vinay Singh s/o Veer Singh Nanak Nagar Jammu presently employee of Ravi Abrol with criminal conspiracy have prepared fake orders in their computer with the intention to cheat the complainant and other persons. On this complaint police arrested Sanjay Kumar on October 5, 2010, Ravi Abrol and Vinay Singh have been arrested on October 6, 2010.
Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jammu, MS Parihar after hearing Advocates Asha Koul, KS Charak and Ravinder K Gupta for the applicants whereas CPO Mr. Pawan Khajuria with PO Pankaj Sethi appearing for the state observed that it is discretion of the Court to see in which case the bail should be granted or in which case it should be refused, but while exercising the said discretion, Court has to take into consideration the various circumstances. With these observations, Court dismissed the bail applications of Sanjay Pandita, Ravi Abrol and Vinay Singh. JNF
