JK Bank staffer’s honesty appreciated | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Srinagar, Oct 18: J&K Bank staffer Rohit Puri, a banking associate and working as head cashier in B/U Trikuta Nagar Jammu, today received laurels for his exceptional act of honesty. Recently, Puri found some golden jewellery wrapped in brown paper abandoned in locker room, which he promptly handed over to the Branch Head for the identification of its owner. The Business-Unit today traced the owner of the jewellery as one Meenakshi Padha w/o Ramneek Dubey R/O 33/5, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu having SB Account No. of 4856. Her joy knew no bounds when Meenakshi came to know about it and extended profound gratitude for the JK Bank staffer for his outstanding integrity. The reported worth Rs 1 lac. In her letter of thanks faxed to the Bank she said, “I feel total delight to hear all this and thank you from the core of my heart”. Commenting upon the letter Rohit said that although it was his duty to be honest and alert but he felt honoured by the Meenakshi’s response.
