JKNC minority cell holds meet | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Oct 23: A meeting of the minority cell of J&K National Conference was convened in the office of the Cell at Bohri, Talab Tillo today under the supervision of M K Yogi, working President of the Minority Cell, to discuss various issues. The participants noted that the process of allotment of two-room tenements at Jagti Nagrota has been started. The participants hoped that reasonable percentage of non-camp migrants who are dependent on cash relief and have aged and infirm members are accommodated. The participants noted with dismay that certain elements in the migrant community were indulging in disruptive activities to sabotage the allotment of flats at Jagti. The participants also noted that unwarranted misinformation was being spread against the recent statements of the Chief Minister has always maintained is an integral part of the country. Other issues like enhancement of Cash Relief, compensation for damaged property by the recent floods were also discussed. Also present on the occasion were M L Munshi, R N Fotedar, S N Dhar, Bansi Lal Bhat, Pinky Bhat, P L Talashi, Bal Krishen Bhat, Amit Koul and all Unit Presidents of Camp and Non-Camp residents. |
