| Inderjeet selected for theatre scholarship | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Oct 30: The senior actor and general secretary Inderjeet Singh of Ek Sath Rangmandal has been selected for scholarship in theatre field under the scheme of “Scholarship to Young Artists in Different Cultural Fields” for the year 2009-10 by the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India.
It is third award in row that the group has got.
Earlier its president & senior, veteran theatre director Vijay Malla got senior fellowship in folk theatre from Ministry of Culture and Kumari Qurat-ul-Ain (child artist) got scholarship in theatre from Centre for Culture Resources and Training, Govt. of India.
Inderjeet singh has acted in more than two dozen plays in Hindi, Urdu and Dogri. He has also assisted Malla in all major productions of Ek Sath Rangmandal.
