| Students protest on demands | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Nov 2: The students of the Government Degree College, Kathua staged protest under the banner of NSUI against district and college administrations by blocking the college road for more than an hour for failing to provide security and transport facility to the students.
The NSUI unit college president, Amrish Jasrotia, student leader Vinay Kumar, senior vice president NSUI Navdeep Katal, Vice president NSUI Ankit Singh, Rajinder Singh, Sahil Gupta and Sachin Verma resented over the ill attitude of both college and district administrations.
They also urged both administration of college and district to clear the funds sanctioned for college development and to provide the facility of transportation by making bus service functional which has been defunct for the last 3 to 4 years and concession in bus fare. They warned if the action will not be taken seriously by the administration students would have to choose the path of massive agitation.
