| Chinar Primary School celebrates annual day | | |

JAMMU, Dec 9: Chinar Primary School, the junior wing of Sainik School Nagrota celebrated its Annual Day function here today.
A grand cultural show and academic prize distribution function was held in the school ground to mark the occasion. Proceedings began with lighting of the sacred lamp by Director School Education Gulzar Qureshi. Renu Devi presented welcome address while Sunita Dembi presented the school annual report. He highlighted achievements of school during current academic session.
Haryanvi Dance, Chak Dhoom Dhoom, Sainik Dance, Animal Dance and Bangra Dance were also presented by the young children. Chief Guest G A Queshi gave away the prizes to the children for their excellent performance in academics and other competitions. Tagore House won the Cock House Trophy for the session 2010-11.
Group Captain Ajay Kumar, Chairman of Chinar Primary School, Col Harbir Singh, Lt Col Krishan Yadav and Major Sunil Pandita were also present among other distinguished guests and parents on this occasion. |
