| JU holds TT camp from tomorrow | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 21: Department of Sports and Physical Education of University of Jammu (JU) has decided to conduct a 21-day coaching camp prior to participation in the North Zone Inter-University Table Tennis Tournament to be hosted by Dehradun University from January 10 to January 15.
“The camp in both men and women section shall start from December 23 at Gymnasium Hall of the University under the guidance of experts from the game,” Assistant Director, Ramesh Magotra told SAN.
The final selected JU team shall depart for the venue on January eight, he added.
Poor response in athletics
Meanwhile, JU has got poor response for the ongoing athletics coaching camp on the campus. And to raise a competitive side, the Department of Sports has issued yet another circular to the affiliated colleges inviting eligible athletes.
The selected team shall participate in the All India Inter-University Athletics Meet to be held at Acharya Naga Arjun University in Andhra Pradesh.
