EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 21: The students and staff of Alexander Memorial School celebrated Christmas function in the school premises with usual solemnity and gaiety.
The whole campus was tactfully decorated with buntings , X`Mas Tree, Symbolic Star and Santa- Clauses etc Befitting great religious festival, symbolic of the Birth of Lord Jesus Christ, more than 2000 years ago.
Ashok Khajuria, MLA Jammu East, Gulshan Mahajan, ex-Corporator, ward no 7, Rev Shan Lal, Priest - in – charge of St. Paul`s Church, CNI, Residency Road, Jammu, Rev. Vicky Sunny, St. Paul`s Chuch, CNI Johnny William were present on the occasion
The Principal, Mrs Esther William, received the guests and delivered the welcome address. The function started with a prayer and message of love and peace.
Tiny Tots staged a small skit depicting scenes form the nativity. The programme was followed by a lively Christmas Party.
