Khajuria inuagurates upgraded transformer

Jammu Dec 21: Continuing with the develomental activities and the “Mass Contact Programme”, BJP MLA from Jammu East Constituency Ashok Khajuria,
alongwith District President Rajesh Gupta, reached Circular road area here today
and inaugurated the High Mast light fixed at Baba Lal Ji Chowk in presence of a
large number of local residents and the party activists.
He also got commissioned the upgraded transformer of 450 KVA capacity.
Ashok Khajuria on the occasion, said that there existed 250 KVA capacity transformer and it was not meeting the requirements of the residents of Jullaka Mohalla, Baba Lal ji Gali, Circular Road and Upper Mast Garh and the people were facing problems especially during the evening hours.
The newly installed hi-mast light will also prove to be of great help as the people passing through the area will feel safe and comfortable in the late evenings.

Khajuria also inspected the nalla passing through the area and directed the UEED officials accompanying him to remodel and construct it again as it is not serving the purpose and the people have been demanding total reconstruction.
The MLA, while interacting with the local residents, said that maximum area of Jammu East constituency is densely populated and congested. The narrow lanes and drains sometimes cause problems to the people.
As he is aware of these problems, every possible effort is being made to ensure
that the people are provided with adequate and hygienic sanitation related
facilities besides uninterrupted power supply with voltage.
He assured the people that whatever problem will be brought into his notice, he will see to it that the same is mitigated at the earliest. Sanjiv Gupta, Sashi Sapolia, Sat Pal Singh Rathore and Senior officials of Jammu Municipal Corporation, PHE, UEED
were present on the occasion.
