EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 15: Three persons were today apprehended by security forces at Surankote in Poonch for allegedly making available SIM cards to militants.
All the three were working for militants in Surankote for the past some time and had been providing them SIM cards and other items, police sources said.
Sources identified them as Mohammad Imran, Rashid Ahmad and Mohammad Abbas.
They used to attain SIM cards of different telecommunication companies by producing forged documents at their sale outlets. After they got SIM cards, they supplied them to militants, the
sources added.
Sources said they were arrested by a joint column of police and army from Surankote on a tip-off. They had been sent to joint interrogation centre here for their detailed interrogation.
