In Laila Khan disappearance case, another Tak associate detained | | | Asif Iqbal Naik Kishtwar, June 9: Police today detained another associate of Parvaiz Iqbal Tak, wanted by Kishtwar police and Maharashtra police in the alleged disappearance of Bollywood actress Laila Khan and her family members. According to police sources, Farooq Ahmed of Bhunzwah, Kishtwar, was detained in the morning to question him in the case. Sources said that Farooq's name surfaced during the questioning of Shakir Hussain who was detained by police and later allowed to go home yesterday after he assured full cooperation in the apprehension of Tak. Sources refused to divulge the details on the role of Farooq Ahmed and his links with accused Parvaiz Iqbal Tak. Some more people were called for questioning, but none of them was arrested, the sources added. Meanwhile, two more members of Maharashtra police arrived here today from Nasik and joined their colleagues who are already camping here after Laila's Outlander car was recovered from a shop on Om Mehta road on May 28, 2012. Sources said that photographs of Parvaiz Iqbal Tak had already been circulated to all the police stations of the state and also sent to HP and Punjab police. A written request had also been made to Mitsubishi company, brand owner of Outlander, to provide the services of an engineer so that the GPRS system installed inside the vehicle could be accessed to find out the routes taken by the vehicle from Mumbai to Kishtwar.
