Claims of Government contrary on Ground :RTI Reveals

Srinagar, Oct 5: In an RTI response to Social Royal Voluntary Environmental Service (SRVES, a socio environmental faction) By the Jammu and Kashmir Government departments a major description have come into existence which is in contrary to what the Government of Jammu and Kashmir Claims.
The RTI responses to the query filled by Er. M.M.Idrees ul haq Beigh (C.E.O SRVES) :
How keenly government is awareing the Government officials and general public regarding the RTI Act (programs per year or programs per month from 2005-2012)?
Chief Minister's Secretariat (vide response letter number : CMS/Gen/76/61/2012) claims to Impart various necessary training programs regarding the RTI Act to officer's/officials and also State Information commission ( vide response letter number :SIC/CO/PIO/11/2012/39009-10) claims to held interactive sessions and PIO meeting's at district head quarters on regular intervals.
However the zero ground situation is totally in contrary to what the claim is being made.
J&K Government Public Works (R&B) Department (vide response letter number : PW(R&B)PIO/RTI/81/2012) ,Block Development Officer Hiranagar Jammu ( vide response letter number : BDO/Hgr/2012-13/462-64),Department of soil conservation( vide response letter number : JDHQ/Esst-144/RTI/330-32),Block Development Officer Bhalwal Jammu ( vide response letter number: BB/RTI/2012-13/624-25),Directorate of command area development Kashmir ( vide response letter number :69/Esst/CADK/2012-13/122-23) reply in contrary. These Departments have not received any Training Module/ Training/Awareness programs regarding RTI Act since 2005 till date. C.E.O SRVES, M.M.Idrees Ul Haq while speaking to the press have urged the government of Jammu and Kashmir to impart the training module / awareness camps/training camps regarding the JK RTI Act to its officials/officers. He also impressed the Government to provide speedy redress of grievances' made to the general public. C.E.O SRVES have also sought the direct intervention of the CM Omar Abdullah, his Governor of Jammu and Kashmir and all political parties in this matter so that all the J&K government officials, bureaucrats are well aware about RTI Act.
