Jammu, Nov 13: The episode of Naresh Kapoor of Gandhi Nagar has exposed that all activities of the present dispensation of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir are confined only on papers and in media.
As reported by the Early Times in Saturday’s edition, Jammu’s prestigious Narayana Hospital has refused to admit a patient suffering from high fever and low platelets on a much-touted ‘Ayushman Bharat’ card.

Kargil, Nov 13: Accusing the BJP-led central government of being non-serious towards the issues and concerns of the people of Ladakh, prominent leaders from the union territory on Saturday announced a mass agitation to press for their four main demands including full statehood and constitutional safeguards for the region.
The Leh-based Apex body of People's Movement for 6th Schedule and the Kargil Democratic Alliance (KDA) jointly called for a general strike on December 6 followed by public rallies and mass contact programmes in both Leh and Kargil districts in March coinciding with improved weather conditions .

New Delhi, Nov 13: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will transfer the first instalment of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) to more than 1.47 lakh beneficiaries of Tripura on Sunday (November 14, 2021) via video conferencing.
The Prime Minister's Office said that over Rs 700 crore will be credited directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries on the occasion.

SRINAGAR, Nov 13: The Government today informed that 181 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 26 from Jammu division and 155 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 334006.
Moreover, 95 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 15from Jammu Division and 80 from Kashmir Division.

Srinagar, Nov 13: Kashmir valley continued to shiver in cold as minimum temperature showed a further dip making nights more colder while temperature in Drass and kargil also plunged disrupting normal life on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Drass, Leh and Kargil in Ladakh Union Territory were also the coolest places in the region.
Drass, the second coldest place after Siberia, recorded a minimum temperature of minus 14 degree Celsius on Saturday, Leh at minus 7.1 degree Celsius against the minus 7.0 a day ago while it was minus 3.2 degree Celsius at Kargil today against the minus 1.9 degree Celsius the previous day.
