JAMMU, Nov 22: The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Wednesday sacked four more Government employees, including a doctor and a policeman, for their alleged terror links in the Union Territory, officials said.

Jammu, Nov 22: The charge sheet against Farooq Ahmed Mir, who is among the four government employees dismissed from service by the Jammu and Kashmir administration on Wednesday shows that he was appointed despite being a terrorist of the banned Hizbul Mujahideen and paid a salary while he was in jail, officials said.
Mir, who has been sacked under the provisions of Article 311 of the Constitution, is a resident of Kupwara in north Kashmir and had exfiltrated in 1990 and received arms training at ISI-operated camps before infiltrating back after a year.
He was a top commander of the Hizbul Mujahideen terror outfit before being arrested in 1991, the officials said.

Jammu, Nov 22: Jammu and Kashmir’s current unemployment rate has decreased to around four per cent from 5.2 per cent in the financial year 2021-22, a senior official said.
Director (Employment) Nisar Ahmad stated this during a meeting here to give an overview of the employment scenario in Jammu and Kashmir.

JAMMU, Nov 22: Four army personnel including two officers (Captains) have been martyred in the ongoing encounter in the Solki area of Rajouri in Jammu and Kashmir.
Two terrorists were trapped in an encounter with security forces in Rajouri’s Kalakote area earlier in the day, police said.

Srinagar, Nov 22: Two terrorist aides of the Pakistan-based proscribed terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) were arrested, and arms and ammunition were recovered from their possession in Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar district, police said on Wednesday.
According to officials, the arrested terror aides were arrested on November 21.
“Two terrorist associates, Mumtaz Ahmad Lone and Jahangir Ahmad Lone, both residents of Trehgam, Kupwara, were arrested on the spot and a huge cache of arms and ammunition was recovered from their possession, which included 2 pistols, 4 magazines, 2 filler magazines and 8 grenades,” they said in a statement.
