Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 7: After the abrogation of Article 35-A and modification in Article 370 of the Indian constitution, J&K is still a focus area for BJP. During its national executive meeting, the party held detailed discussions on Jammu and Kashmir and devised future strategies for the newly carved Union Territory. During the national executive meeting, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman informed about discussions held on Jammu and Kashmir. Militants kill policeman in Srinagar

Early Times Report Srinagar, Nov 7: A policeman was shot dead by terrorists in the Batamaloo area of the city on Sunday, officials said. He was identified as Constable Tausif Ahmad, they said. "At about 8 pm, terrorists fired upon JKP Constable Tausif Ahmad near his residence at SD Colony, Batamaloo," the officials added. They said the cop was critically injured and was taken to the SMHS hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. Early Times Report Srinagar, Nov 7: A Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) militant was found lying in a critical condition in an orchard in village Hermain in south Kashmir district of Shopian was moved to hospital by the locals for treatment on Sunday. Official sources said, local villagers found a militant identified as Sahil Bashir Lone lying in an orchard in his native village Hermain in an injured condition and shifted him to nearby hospital for treatment. Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Nov 7: The Government today informed that 165 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 09 from Jammu division and 156 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 333076. Agencies New Delhi, Nov 7: More than 116.58 crore COVID-19 vaccine doses have been provided to states and Union Territories so far, the Union Health Ministry said on Sunday. Over 15.77 crore balance and unutilised vaccine doses are still available with the states and union territories to be administered, it said.
