Early Times Report Jammu, July 12: Even as former chief minister and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mehbooba Mufti has opposed the Union Territory administration’s decision to sack terror outfit Hizbul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin’s sons, various organizations have stepped up demand to investigate who appointed dreaded terrorist’s sons in government departments. When Salahuddin’s sons were appointed in government departments, he had already exfiltrated into Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK). From across the border, Salahuddin was importing bloodshed and destructions in Jammu and Kashmir but the governments at the helm of the affairs were busy in providing government jobs to his sons. Salahuddin’s younger son Syed Shahid Yousuf, serving the Agricultural Department, was arrested in the year 2017 by the NIA in a terror-funding case but no concrete action was taken against him. Early Times Report Srinagar, July 12: Traffic on Srinagar-Jammu national highway was restored after remaining disrupted for several hours on Monday due to fresh landslides, triggered by heavy rain. One-way Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) traffic was on Monday allowed from Srinagar to Jammu. However, fresh landslides triggered by heavy overnight rain at Samroli forced closure of the highway again, official sources said. Agencies New Delhi, July 12: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday (July 12, 2021) announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh each from Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) to the next of kin of those who lost their lives due to lightning strikes in parts of Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madya Pradesh during heavy rain on Sunday.
