Mastermind of Pulwama attack eliminated; biggest success against terrorism in 2021

Early Times Report Jammu, July 31: The killing of Abu Saifullah alias “Lambu” is rightly described as the biggest success for security forces in the year 2021. Although nearly 90 terrorists have been killed this year, today’s encounter has been described as the biggest strike of this year. The mastermind of the Pulwama terror attack Abu Saifullah alias ‘Lamboo’, a self-styled commander of the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) outfit was killed in an encounter in South Kashmir’s Dachigarm forest area. He along with another terrorist was killed in the encounter- which lasted for not more than five minutes and was completed without any collateral damage. The killed terrorist was the nephew of the chief of JeM, Masood Azhar, who was designated as a global terrorist was the United Nations in May 2019. ‘Lamboo’ a resident of Pakistan’s Punjab province had reportedly infiltrated Kashmir Valley from the Shakargarh area of Pakistan in the year 2017, to coordinate terror activities in Jammu and Kashmir. Asif Iqbal Naik Early Times Report Kishtwar, July 31: The search operation in remote Honzar village of Dachhan in Kishtwar District hit by the cloudburst during the intervening night of 27/28 July continued for fourth running day with SDRF and NDRF teams joining the Jammu and Kashmir police, Army and civil administration. Early Times Report Srinagar, July 31: With the arrest of two terrorists, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) had busted a terror syndicate involved in supplying arms to terrorists of Jammu and Kashmir from Bihar on July 23. Two residents of Bihar were arrested by the NIA for their alleged involvement in transporting arms from Bihar and handing the same consignment to terrorists active in Jammu and Kashmir. Agencies New Delhi, July 31: Saudi Arabia has invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the Middle East Green Initiative Summit, which will take place in October. Early Times Report Jammu, July 31: A suspected drone activity was spotted on Saturday following which the traffic was briefly suspended in the Bari Brahmana area of Samba district in Jammu and Kashmir. Early Times Report SRINAGAR, July 31: The Government on Saturday informed that 118 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 40 from Jammu division and 78 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 321462. Moreover, 113 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 43 from Jammu Division and 70from Kashmir Division.
