Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 9: Disappointing response of people of Jammu led to BJP calling of the celebrations that were planned on the second anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370 and 35-A. Instead of providing governance to the people, the arrogant Babus are busy brazenly plundering the state exchequer, and it is all due misdeeds such bureaucrats the Jammu and Kashmir has been plunged into an unprecedented crisis. There is a widespread feeling among people of J&K in general and Jammu region that instead of addressing problems of the people some ‘influential’ Babus spent most of their time on social media. Social media accounts of some arrogant Babus are flooded with irrelevant posts having nothing to do with the day today problems of the people. Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 9: Even as thousands of government employees and daily wagers are complaining about nor getting their wages in time due to “paucity of funds,” bureaucrats in Jammu and Kashmir are “spending lavishly on the functions.” From holding seminars to workshops to festivals, many of the government departments are spending “huge public money” on such activities including sporting events. Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 9: Even as the National Investigation Agency has tightened noose around the banned Jamaat-e-Islami through fresh raids across the Union territory, at least four districts of Jammu have also come under scanner for such “fundraising.” Sources said apart from districts in Kashmir like Srinagar, Budgam, Ganderbal, Baramulla, Kupwara, Bandipora, Anantnag, Shopian, Pulwama, Kulgam, the Jammu province areas are also on the radar. Early Times Report Anantnag, Aug 9: Terrorists on Monday afternoon shot dead a Sarpanch and his wife from Kulgam, presently living in Lal Chowk area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district. Officials said that BJP Sarpanch Ghulam Rasool of Redwani Bala, and his wife Jawhara Banoo were fire upon by suspected militants in Mehman Mohallah locality area of Anantnag where the couple was living in a rented accommodation.
