| 170 RD works completed under SGRY | | | Srinagar, February12
Under centrally sponsored Swarn Grameen Rozgar Yojana (SGRY), 170 works have been completed upto ending January of current financial year claiming expenditure of Rs 40. 15 lakh in Khansahib block. Besides, 2000 quintal of food grains worth Rs. 12.50 lakh were provided to the beneficiaries thereby generating 25000 mandays.
This information was given to Additional District Development Commissioner Budgam, while inspecting the development works in block Khansahib today. He was told that under IAY, construction of 308 low cost houses is in full swing, while 141 such houses have been completed with a total investment of Rs 35.20 lakh during the said period.
The Additional District Development Commissioner, Budgam stressed upon the field functionaries to work with dedication and missionary zeal, so that the benefits of development work reach to the gross root level. |
