| Army organizes ‘Shweta Ashawa’ show | | | JAMMU FEB-12 As a part of the on going Nowshera Day celebrations, Motor Cycle Display Team of Corps of Military Police, put up a splendid show popularly known as ‘Shweta Ashawa’ at Nowshera stadium. Various civil and military dignitaries as well as large number of enthusiastic local residents graced the event. The ‘Shweta Ashawa’ has won great accolades and owing to its sterling showmanship it will now find a place in the Guinness Book of World records, a Defence handout claimed. The team led by Sub C K Mane, showcased their talent by performing a plethora of dare devil feats which kept the enraptured audience pulsating with thrill and excitement. The team skillfully maneuvered their Enfield motorcycles exhibiting astonishing solo stunts like on leg riding, reverse riding on petrol tank, ladder climbing as well as combined feats such as ‘ scissors crossing’, ‘parallel crossing’ and ‘figure eight crossing’. The rider’s created magnificent formations like’ pyramid’, ‘ lotus’ and ‘sudarshan chakra’ with élan. The pinnacle of the show was the daring ‘Shweta Ashawa’ jump through a ring of fire which was performed with commendable precision and aplomb and the display cited a reverberating applause and was highly appreciated by the large audience.
