2/12/2007 10:41:53 PM
Jallandhar Feb-12
Calling upon the Indian leadership to make Article 370 permanent with amendment empowering Parliament of India to legislate on the subjects which were included in the Instrument of Accession by Maharaja Hari Singh in 1947, Prof Bhim Singh Chairman National Panthers Party said that this step shall remove 58 years of uncertainty in the Centre-State relations vis- a- vis Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing series of election meetings at Ludhiana and Jallandar last night to garner support for his party’s nominees, Bhim appealed all political parties of Jammu and Kashmir to work for the restoration of peace and stability in Jammu and Kashmir thus stop fueling terrorism and uncertainty.
Welcoming PoK Premier Sadar Attique Khan’s offer to the young entrepreneurs to start business in PoK, Prof Singh said that the offer to extend gap pipeline to India would help strengthen the peace process between India and Pakistan.
The Panther Chief called on the angry youth in Jammu and Kashmir and North East to give up guns and join the movement launched by the Panthers Party for justice and equity.
