SI caught red handed accepting graft, case registered

A bribe case has been registered against sub inspector of police, in Darhal police station in Rajouri District.
According to reports, DSP HQ Rajouri Kulwant Singh Jasrotia had booked specific information about graft deal in between Prob. Sub-inspector Tofail Mohd. Choudhary R/o Sunjwan Jammu posted in Darhal and an accused Mohd. Deen who is already involved in a case U/S 307
DSP caught him red-handedly while accepting graft amounting Rs.3, 000 from the accused. Police has registered a case under prevention of corruption Act against the sub- inspector. Reports said that the sub-inspector had assured to help Mohd. Deen in the murder case. Later police also arrested sub-inspector in this regard.
Meanwhile, a case was registered against C.I.D constable, namely Harpal Singh U/S 419/1089 in city police station.
