| J&K Mountaineering Association holds election | | |

In an election meeting held by J&K Mountaineering Association B.R. Sharma IAS, Chief Electoral Officer and the representative of snow trail mountaineers, Jammu and Dr. D. C. Khajuria of Tawi Trekkers, J&K elected as president and General Secretary.
Yogeshwar Kumar of J&K Mountaineering and Allied sports club, Jammu and M.D. Naqqash of Kashmir Magsshaff Trekking and Mountaineering club Srinagar were elected as Vice Presidents for Jammu and Kashmir divisions respectively. While Shivati koul of Ibex adventure club, Jammu and Bashir Ahmed of glacier Trekking and Mountaineering club, Anantnag were elected as Joint Secretaries. Nitin Jamwal was elected as the treasurer.
The executive members of the J&K Mountaineering Assosciation were Mohd. Amin, Rakesh Goswami, Jameel Mustafa, Vishav Mohan Sharma and S.Daljit Singh.
