| Special police officer including three arrested for selling illegal Diesel G | | | DODA, Aug1:
Kishtwar police today arrested a Special Police Officer (S.P.O) and two other persons for selling diesel illegally in the area. According to reports in continuation to the drive launched by District Police Doda against black marketers on a reliable information received by a police patrolling party of police station Kishtwar that one SPO namely Ab Qayoom NO. 120 s/o Faiz Mohd resident of Bonjwah along with two persons namely Nizam Din son of Assadullah resident of Thathri and Mohd Amin son of Mohd Munawar resident of Warda are selling diesel illegally with out any licence on Doda- Kishtwar road at Warda near Phagumarh, a raid was conducted. During the raid all the three persons were apprehended red handed and from their possession 13 canes containing 400 ltrs diesel were seized. Police has also registered a case under F.I.R NO. 168/ 2006 U/S 3/7 ECA in police station Kishtwar and further investigation is going on to ascertain the source of illegal supply of diesel to these people. Some more arrests are likely to be made on the disclosure of the arrested persons.
