| Cong Workers call on Hukam Chand | | |

A delegation of congress workers from Jammu west constituency today met sr. congress leader and former secretary of J&K PCC, Hukum Chand Sharma and apprised him about the problems being faced by the residents of Janipur and Ploura areas with regard poor supply of drinking water.
According to press release the Congress workers alleged that AEE, and JE of Bakshi Nagar have swindled the funds provided for the better supply of water to the public by increasing the capacity of the pipes and remove the old pipes. They further alleged that the attitude and behavior of the officials is very rude and they never listen to the genuine demands of the public. They handed over some documentary evidence of the misappropriation to Hukam Chand.
Sharma listen the problems of the congress workers and assured that he will take up the matter with the concerned Minister and authorities and also put their genuine demands for early solution. He also assured that he will approach the concerned agencies for proper enquiry in a short period as there is no place of such corrupt official during the period of Congress Government led by Ghulam Nabi Azad
