| L-e-T militant arrested, ammunition recovered | | | Doda, 01:
One Lashkar-e- Toiba militant was arrested by District Police Doda and Security Forces from Sua Bonjah under the jurisdiction of Kishtwar Police station. The militant who has been identified as Mohd.Yousuf S/ O Mir Bakerwal R/O Kither, was arrested on a tip off developed by Police regarding his presence at Hatli Morh, Kathua some of his family members were presently putting up. The Police Party sent from Kishtwar to Kathua to nab him, returned with the information that the said militant was presently operating at Sua Bonjuah.
A joint operation was launched by police and troops of 22 SF, zeroing in on him succeeded in arresting him along with two live grenades at 8.30 am today. A case has been registered and legal action initiated against him.
In another similar development in Doda, an un-identified militant was killed by SOG / NCA during a search operation in general area of Doda Dhok and 1 AK47 Rifle, one pistol, 1 wireless set, 1 AK mag. 1bag, 226 rds. AK Amm.2 Pinchu packet medicine, 2 rockets UBGL Grenade, 1 pouch, 1 Grenade and one Binocular were recovered.

In an encounter at General Area of Solian Marhote when Abu- Wahab (PoK national) and divisional commander of LeT active for past 4/5 years was killed and 1 AK47 rifle, 2 AK mag.and 30 rds. AK47 were recovered, however his other accomplice escaped taking the cover of maize crops and bad weather.
