2/14/2007 9:33:36 PM

JAMMU FEB 14
The delimitation report presented to Chief Minister by the chairman of the commission would be discussed in the state cabinet meeting taking place on Thursday evening. Transfers of civil and police officers would also be effected in the meeting. There is every likely hood of being it a stormy and crucial meet as the ministers from PDP are expected to raise the issue of demilitarization and withdrawal of special power Acts as announced by Party’s patron Mufti Muhammad Sayeed at a press conference yesterday.
Sources in civil secretariat told News Agency of Kashmir that State cabinet scheduled to meet tomorrow would discuss the report of delimitation commission which was presented to chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad by its chairman S S Bloria.
The delimitation commission was constituted to recommend carving out of new districts and tehsils.
Sources said that the transfers of some senior police and civil officers are also likely to be effected in the meeting.
