| EJAC hold protest rally, Govt refuses memorandum | | | Jammu | Feb 14 Thousand of members of government employed Joint Action Committee (EJAC) today carried at protest rally at Shalimar chowk here today which the association leader reaches civil secretariat for going memorandum to chief Minister J&K the security officials stopped them and refused to accept the memorandum, with angering faces they came back into the roads and started shouting slogans against the government. State President of organization said that the organization can go to any extend if their demands are not entertained by the government. He also said that they will continue their protest till the Govt. announcement. The protestors were demanding for the implementation of the 6th pay commission recommendations in respect of state to the state government employees also and revival of mediclaim policy after back listing banks against which cores of rupees are pending. They also stressed upon government to check labour exploitation and enhancement of wage and regularization of daily wagers, Rehbar-e-taleem, Rehbar-e-Zirrat, Angan wadi workers, contractual and adhoc employees who have continuous service who retirement should be increased from 58 years to 60 years “Full Pension benefits should be granted after 21 years qualifying service rather than 33 years.” Others who spoke on the occasion were A.Q. Wani, M. Gafoor Dar, Balwan Singh Jamwal, G.M. Budgami, S. Jaswant Singh, Molvi Mohd Maneer, Darshan lal Sharma, Ganesh Khajuria, Hari singh, Mohan Lal sharma and others.
