| JKNPP leaders week- long tour concludes | | | DODA, FEB14 The week- long extensive visit of Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party leaders to different areas of the district including Malhoti and Bhalla concluded today. The party leaders interacted with the people and heard their problems, which mostly related to electricity, water supply, road connectivity and unemployment. Ch. Mohd Iqbal Provincial Secretary and Block president Bhadarwah Kotwal Dharam Singh were among those who conducted an extensive tour of the area. Talking to media persons here today the Block president Kotwal regretted that despite 60 years of independence, the areas like Malothi, Bhalla lack basic amenities and facilities like road connectivity, electricity, drinking water and other basic amenities of life. Ch. Iqbal who also addressed the media men expressed dissatisfaction over the functioning of the state government led by Azad and alleged that BMO’s post in Bhaderwah was lying vacant for quite some time and demanded re-engagement of lecturers on contractual basis. He also demanded expediting the work on the Basholi-Bhaderwah road.
