| Aggrieved candidates’ passionate appeal to Chief Minister | | | Poonch, Feb 14 Service Selection Recruitment Board has failed to conduct the interview for the posts of Electrician Technician III of Poonch district advertised in 2005. Many candidates who applied for the post are at the verge of crossing the upper age limit fixed for recruitment in the government departments, said the aggrieved candidates here today. The aggrieved candidates have appealed to the Chief Minister to direct the Board to make selections for these posts at the earliest. SSRB had advertised 20 posts of Electrician Technician III in Poonch district vide advertisement number 6 of 2005 dated 21-11-2005 that included 13 posts for residents of Backward Area and seven posts for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe candidates but no interview has been conducted till date. "We are at the verge of crossing upper age limit and Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad should come at our rescue", Madu Khan, an applicant said. "We do not demand anything but to conduct interviews". Various candidates are facing mental depression due to non- conduct of interviews by the SSRB, he added.
