Joint Employees Federation holds meeting

DODA, FEB 15--Joint Employees Federation under the chairmanship of Mohd Saleem Wani, senior Vice president Distt-Doda organized a meeting here today in which burning problems related to the employees of Distt-Doda were discussed.
Speaking on the occasion, Wani alleged that the state government is ignoring the demands of the employees from the last so many years like COLA installments, pending salaries, deposition of provident funds which were deducted by their salaries and release of defaulted liabilities of retired employees.
The speakers in the meeting also reiterated that the government has failed to resolve the problems of government employees and thus they compelled to take go for agitational path. They also demanded regularization of daily wagers, contractual lecturers, RETs and demanded fulfillment of all demands of teachers also. The speakers in the meeting also extended whole hearted support to Action Committee, who are organizing a rally at Jammu in favor of employees and observed today as black day. The empolyees of all departments particiapted in the emergency meeting .
