| Usman hails verdict on Baglihar | | | Jammu, February 15 (INFO) – Member Legislative Assembly Mr. Usman Majid while addressing a huge public gathering at Bandipore hailed the verdict of World Bank arbitrator on Baglihar hydro project. He stressed for forming a comprehensive plan for utilization of available hydro resources in J&K to make it self sufficient in power sector.
Usman Majid said that nature has gifted Jammu and Kashmir with abundant natural resources especially so instead of depending on central grants, steps must be taken to exploit the available resources to its full extent.
Former Minister of State for Planning and Development said that World Bank verdict on Baglihar has paved way to start work on projects like, Kishangnga, Wullar Barrage and Tulbul Navigation projects in order to make J&K State self-sufficient in power and economically stable and prosperous.
