| HET extends date for receipt of applications for scholarships | | | JAMMU AUGUST-1
For the benefit of students, the Harbans Educational Trust (HET) has extended the last date for receipt of lists of students from schools for consideration of scholarship for the academic year 2006-07, to August 30,2006.
In a handout the PRO of the Institute, Ms Mousamy Bhatti said that this has been done to accommodate the request from various schools which have not been able to prepare the lists due to the summer vacations.
Bhatti said that desirous students must route their applications through Head of their school to Managing Trustee Harbans Educational Trust care Nitco Roadways Private Ltd. Nitco Lane Talab Tiloo Jammu on or before the last date.
The Trust, since its inception in 1997, has distributed scholarships amounting to Rs.16 lakhs to over 800 students.
