| Drive against traffic violators | | | DODA, FEB15
As part of ongoing drive launched by the administration against traffic violation, three vehicles permits were cancelled today by SDM Bhadarwah PK Pole for violating the permit direction.
SDM Bhadarwah told this scribe that the drivers and the owners of these vehicles were violating route permit and plying without documents. Further legal action against the drivers and the vehicles owners is in progress.
Meanwhile, SDM today convened a high level meeting of the tehsil administration and representatives of transporters in order to ensure smooth and accident free traffic in the area .A flying squad of four officers was also constituted included SHO Bhadarwah Ajay Jamwal, Naib Tehsildar, President transporters association and one officer from traffic department who will ensure implementation traffic rules and regulations in the area. The team also educated the people regarding the overloading in passenger vehicles which results in accidents.
