Four persons including a student of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra were reportedly missing from their respective places. Meanwhile, a middle aged man was killed due to land slide at village Khabbal.
According to reports, a student of SMVDU, Katra namely Anoop Singh, son of Shobha Jeet Singh of Deoria, Uttar Pradesh was reportedly missing since February 13, 2007 from the Institute. Meanwhile, three others namely Yashpal, son of Manju Ram of Akhnoor, Ashu Devi, 18, daughter of Rasal Chand of Rajpura Mangotrian, Jammu and Ashwani Sharma, 21, son of Bal Krishan of Rajpura Mangotrian were also missing from their respective places.
Meanwhile, one person namely Rassal Singh, 40, son of Sant Ram of Sanoor Morha, Khabbal died on spot due to land sliding and other three persons also suffered injuries in the incident.
