| SAC reorganized, Ram Lal elected Chairman | | | POONCH AUGUST-1-Following the death of its Chairman Hira Nand, the Poonch unit of the Sharnarthi Action Committee,(SAC) has been reorganized.
According to a handout, Ram Lal Sharma retired Superintendent of Police has been elected as its Chairman with Sardar Singh Inqualabi as the Vice Chairman.
Barkat Singh Azad retired ZEPO has been elected as President while Mohan Singh and Krishan Lal have been appointed as senior Vice President and Vice President respectively. Retired captain Nehar Singh has been appointed as Vice President cum cashier and Balwant Singh as General Secretary.
The other members appointed included Dalip Singh as Secretary, Pritam Singh as Joint Secretary, Jaswant Singh Khajuria as Publicity Secretary and Om Parkash as Additional Publicity Secretary.
The handout further said that Chaman Lal Advocate has been elected district President of Samajwadi party.
