Jammu, Dec 18: Grandparents' day was celebrated in the premises of K V Bantalab on today.
Formal welcome of the grandparents was done by the headmaster of the School, Prem Jain. After lighting of the lamp, a beautiful welcome song was presented by tiny tots. Grandparents were mesmerized by the cultural programme which included speech, poem, dance, skit, action songs,and bhangra in which elderly also participated. They were entertained and kept busy by the question answer session, musical chairs and brisk walking competition. Romi Amrit, Vice Principal expressed her views and gratitude towards the elderly. Winners of competitions were given prizes by the Principal Kiran Bali Kaul who also coordinated the programme.
