| Bail denied to Narco Smuggler | | |
Jammu, Dec 18 (JNF): Principal Sessions Judge Kathua MK Hanjura today rejected the bail applications of Bhushan Kumar S/o Hari Chand R/o Ward 8 Kathua against whom police has registered a case u/s 8/21/22 of NDPS Act. According to the police case that on November 18, 2012, the petitioner Bhushan Kumar and Kulwinder Singh were on a motorcycle. On seeking police party they tried to give them a slip. However, petitioner was apprehended but Kulwinder Singh fled away. Police recovered One Thousands capsules of Parvan Spas and 15 bottels of Corex and police registered a case. While rejecting the bail application of both the accused, Principal Sessions Judge MK Hanjura after hearing both the sides, observed that the accused were in possession of 1595 capsules which falls within the scales of commercial quantity and this attracts the bar created by the section of 37 NDPS Act, therefore the applications of both the petitioners are dismissed. |
