Dr. Shohab Inayat Malik, Reader Deptt. of Urdu and Astt. Deptt was felicitated by Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi for his contribution to Urdu language in Jammu and Kashmir. In this connection, a function was organized at Jamia Millia Islamia, which was presided over by Padma Shri Prof. Hakim Zillur Rehman former Dean faculty of Unani Medicine Aligarh Muslim University. A large number of student’s scholars and faculty members of Jamia Millia Islamia attended the function. Speakers highlighted the qualities of head and heart of Dr. Shohab. They described him not only a reputed writer of Urdu language but also a man having a secular bent of mind.
