| Murthi’s philosophy has greater relevance today: Mangat | | | Jammu, February 17 Minister for Health and Medical Education Mr. Mangat Ram Sharma has said that teachings of great saints, philosophers and social reformers are required to be inherited by the younger generation to save them from the growing intolerance, violence and exploitation which leads them towards destruction. The Minister was addressing at an interaction session on J. Krishana Murti philosophy organised by the J. Krishana Murti study centre at General Zorwar Singh auditorium complex Jammu University today. He said teachings of Mr. Murti have great relevance in the present days as the new generation is in the grip of exploiters and ill-wills of the societies and circumstances demand to lead them to a right path which helps to make the society crime free and bring the state out of the clutches of mistrust, violence and blood-shed. Responding on the demand of a full-fledged study centre on the philosophy of J. Krishana Murti, renowned, scholar religious, social reformer and spiritual personality Mr. Sharma said that matter would be taken up with the government for appropriate action. Mr. Dev Dutt Sharma, Dr. Shiv Dutt Sharma, Sardar Jasbir Singh also addressed and threw light on the philosophy of J. Krishana Murti. They said that Krishana Murti held that truth is beyond the constructions of the human mind, beyond the known, formulated or imaginations and that in the search for the truth. J. Krishana Murti was born in 1895 and left for the heavenly abode on 16 February 1986. During the period he had composed many books namely Problems and Escapes ,Obsession” “Why is there this sorrow of death, Security, Anger, Conditioning, Self esteem and storm in the mind, A feelings for all living things, What is the future of man-kind, Insight into the working of self and benediction of great holiness. Dr. D.L. Choudhary, Administrator General Zorwar Singh auditorium complex presented vote of thanks on the occasion. |
