| KVIB to set up more Kani shawl units | | |
Srinagar, February 17
Khadi and Village Industries Board (KVIB) is contemplating to help set up more units of Kani shawls as these have ample demand in the national and international market. The Board is playing set up more than 250 units under Kani and Pashmina shawls in Kashmir division.
Secretary KVIB Mr.R.C.Sharma alongwith senior officers visited Kanihama in Baramulla district yesterday and inspected other several units. He interacted with the artisans to have on the spot assessment of their problems. The areas visited include Batpora, Kunzer and Chandilora, Tangmarg. |
